What to do this weekend – muddy edition

TomTom FestThe Tom Tom Founders Festival is starting its month-long celebration of music, art and innovation with a kickoff block party Friday at McGuffey Art Center. The fun doesn’t stop there – there are new fun things through May 13th. The opening gala is at the McGuffey Art Center. Make it a date with dinner at Tempo.

Annual Dogwood Festival: This classic Charlottesville event showcases a festival, parade, rides and tops it all off with fireworks. You can’t get better than that.

Mud WarrirorA personal favorite event this weekend is Mud Warrior.  It is an 8K mud run filled with over 20 obstacles. The uniform for this race is anything you want to get dirty. Not dirty. Muddy. Not just muddy. REALLY muddy! Don’t forget the towels to cover the car seats when you leave! Two of our team members (Joren and Jay) will be competing and Simone will be there cheering them on. When you see them, tell them “WishWish and something muddy happens!”
