The old stereotype was that the big deals were done on the golf course. This may or may not still be true, but most meetings are done in an office, conference room – or the really wild ones go to a restaurant. Why not get as creative with your meeting locations as you try to be with your solutions?
This article highlights 5 meeting location options (my favorite was the taco truck, but not sure it would have been as effective if planned). In the Charlottesville area, here are a couple more ideas that could help you get what you need from a business meeting that are beyond ordinary:
- Hiking in the Shenandoah. See something new, get a good work out and build a stronger business relationship all at the same time. (We can even help you find the good spots.)
- Get your head out of the clouds by flying close to them in a hot air balloon. You take time to plan what you will say, but when you and your potential client are flying over Charlottesville; your jaws will drop looking at the views.
- Cruising in a convertible classic sports car along the Blue Ridge Parkway – the only awkward silence will be when you are deciding who gets to drive.
What are some other creative locations in and around Charlottesville that you could imagine doing a fun business meeting?
