It is summer. It is the first weekend of the month. It is Charlottesville. Clearly there are more fun things to do that I can account for in my teeny tiny little space – but here are the highlights.

Classic favorites: Fridays After Five. Follow it up with First Fridays - bonus fun thing, DuCard Vineyard is hosting an impromptu open mic at the vineyard after both. Grab a couple of bottles and revel at how great your day has been.
If you are a dog lover, The Charlottesville Albemarle Kennel Club Annual Dog Show is open to the public for only $5 per carload. Another very affordable fun thing to do with the family is the Haunted History Walking tour. It is a family friendly, great way to stroll around and learn a great story.
Charlottesville continues to surprise me about the really cool, unique, fun, things we can do. The First Annual C’VILLE KNIEVEL Vintage Motorcycle Rally at the Black Market Moto Saloon is happening. An Elvis impersonator and a 12 piece brass band are both promised – I am intrigued, aren’t you?
What are you up to this weekend? Post a comment to report what you think I should have reported.
