If you love BBQ – I mean REALLY love it, BBQ, BANDS & BREWS is for you. The culmination of an official barbeque contest (with the winner being entered into a national BBQ championship), brews from local breweries and music to boot is exactly what summer is all about. If you can’t make it to Fluvana for this event, you can host your own BBQ challenge with friends, get some Starr Hill beer and invite your friends to sing to you (we can even recommend a singing coach if they need some help).
Central Virginia may soon be the Napa Valley of the east coast with all the wine festivals happening. This is certainly something we would encourage! This weekend, the Summer Solstice Wine Festival kicks off with local wine, local food, local vendors coming together to celebrate Summer.
There are a few WishWish gifts that are great year round, but a few of them are spectacular right now and cascading is one of them. What is cascading, you ask? It is hiking in the picturesque Shenandoah to a hidden treasure waterfall. That’s not all – you get to the top of the waterfall and hold on tight, you are going down (with a rope and a guide telling you what to do).
