This week’s focus to the fun things to do for the weekend is expanding horizons. There is a lot of culture in Charlottesville, but some of it may not be known by everyone. We at WishWish are experts in fun, so would like to expand your horizons and show you EVEN MORE fun things to do.
Polo at King Family – every Sunday afternoon in the summer months, the ponies come out to play polo. The really fun part for you (if you are not already playing polo) is that you can go watch the game. It is family friendly, free and really fun! Bring a picnic and make an afternoon of it.
Ever the music friendly area, there is always a band to see. Friday evening at the Glass House Winery, OVERDOG with Stephen Barling will be playing. Bring a picnic and enjoy the wines and chocolates.
Ash-lawn Opera presents Mozart’s Magic Piccolo. This very family friendly adaptation of Mozart’s Magic Flute is created to make it even friendlier for families. If you want to make a night of it with your date, you can see The Magic Flute. Make an even better date and go to Tempo for dinner before the show.
