What to do this weekend

first fridayWe try to give you new, fun things to do in Charlottesville each week, but admit that First Friday’s is a regular love of ours. This week there is little something different though. The Parks & Rec summer camp has been working with the kids to do a huge project called Storyline 2012. Storyline 2012 explored the people and places of Charlottesville through the theme of “Monticello Road: Portraits of the People.” I am curious to see it – aren’t you?

Abrew ridge tours it is the start of a new month, we have Craft Brewery Month to celebrate!  Kick off craft brewery month in style. Hire a driver to take you and 5 friends on a brewery tour with a stop off at Starr Hill for some sampling to take home.

For the families, the popular movies at Scott Stadium will be showing the last movie of the season – ‘The Lorax’. You can get the kid’s energy bounced out ahead of the movie and ensure a great night for all.
